Four labourers found an 8.22 carat diamond in a mine in Madhya Pradesh’s Panna district, after searching for 15 years. They use simple tools like pick axe or a hand-held tool to break up gravel and rocks in order to look for diamonds. Since the diamond was found from a government-leased mine, it has to be deposited with the authorities itself.
